A SPECIAL FAMILY CELEBRATION YOU REMEMBER


Today i´d like to tell you about a family celebration that was 4 years ago, and it was when I still lived in La Serena city with my parents.

 We planned spending christmas and new year in my grandmother’s house, in Santiago, so we travelled like 2 days before on my dad’d car. Also, my aunt, her husband and their two daughters and my cousing with her girlfriend came to the house.                                                                                First we went to the  mass before christmas at 20:00 and when we came back, we started cooking turkey for the dinner while my two little cousins were playing around the house. They were the most excited about the date and of course, about the gifts. We ate the dinner and then me and my dad took my little cousins to a walk around the passage while looking for Santa Claus but they couldn’t find him.                                                                                                                                                                       By the 00:00 we came back to the house and surprise! The christmas tree was full of gifts and we started to open them. My aunt served us a delicious fruitcake and we all drank cola de mono (a sweet alcohol based beverage) except my Little counsins who drank chocolate milk. They were very happy specially about a Frozen doll that received and a Little house. We had to convince them to go to sleep because it was so late and we all wanted to sleep! But seeing all the family reunited was the best thing I remember from thet time because we lived in different cities and we barely see each other…

A phone app you use a lot

Hi classmates today I’m going to talk about Instagram, because that’s the app I use the most now. I have been using it since one year ago I think. I had an account before but never really paid attention to it. When this network appeared everyone was join it but I didn´t care because In that time I didn´t like to upload photos. Now I use it for sharing photos, of course, but I also view it as a kind of virtual magazine, because I can see everyone’s content on there (not only photos) but videos, adverticings, event announcements, online stores, funny things, and even linking with other people.              I never logout so I’m at every time but I normally spend 30 minutes throghout day checking it. my 16th birthday

My 16th birthday was a bit unusual. I was still on school, and never gone to a concert before (I think it’s because I wasn’t into music before and these spectacles always take place in Santiago and I lived in La Serena at that time) and given the oportunity, I knew that Paul McCartney was coming to Chile, like 2 days before my birthday so I asked my parents for letting me go to this concert as a birthday present. They also like his music and listened to The Beatles in their youth, so they agreed and also bought their own tickets. We almost didn’t get tickets because a lot of people wanted to go to this concert, the most expensive ones got sold out instantly and so the cheaper tickets and I was devastated. One week later, They announced another concert date and I could get tickets for me and my family and I was very happy. I also went to the concert with 2 friends I’ve met through a Facebook fan-group.
