A holiday you remember as a child




When I was 6 years old I went with my parents to Antofagasta . I remember it as the first long trip i’ve been to. It took 12 hours in a car from La Serena! (Where I still lived there). 

We went on the summer vacations and we stopped in a gas station on Copiapó. Also we ate lunch and continued for the next six hours.

Then we arrived to Antofagasta and we stayed on a pension. Altough we are not a big family (me, my mom and dad) I made friends with a girl who’s family was leasing in the same place and my mom talked with her mother too. I played with Sofia (my new friend) and we shared toys for the days we were staying there. We had a lot of fun.

One of the fist places we visited with my parents was the iconic natural monument La Portada. It’s a rock that has the shape of a frame and one of the most famous pictures of Chile.
The next day me and my mom went to a beach in the morning (wich I don´t remember its name) but I remember the sand was so dark and it was very easy to build castles with. I also liked the beach because there was a lot of shells and clams and I collected them on a bag. (I loved doing that as a child).
I don´t remember too much because it was a long time ago, but I’d like to come back to Antofagasta

A phone app you use a lot

Hi classmates today I’m going to talk about Instagram, because that’s the app I use the most now. I have been using it since one year ago I think. I had an account before but never really paid attention to it. When this network appeared everyone was join it but I didn´t care because In that time I didn´t like to upload photos. Now I use it for sharing photos, of course, but I also view it as a kind of virtual magazine, because I can see everyone’s content on there (not only photos) but videos, adverticings, event announcements, online stores, funny things, and even linking with other people.              I never logout so I’m at every time but I normally spend 30 minutes throghout day checking it. my 16th birthday

My 16th birthday was a bit unusual. I was still on school, and never gone to a concert before (I think it’s because I wasn’t into music before and these spectacles always take place in Santiago and I lived in La Serena at that time) and given the oportunity, I knew that Paul McCartney was coming to Chile, like 2 days before my birthday so I asked my parents for letting me go to this concert as a birthday present. They also like his music and listened to The Beatles in their youth, so they agreed and also bought their own tickets. We almost didn’t get tickets because a lot of people wanted to go to this concert, the most expensive ones got sold out instantly and so the cheaper tickets and I was devastated. One week later, They announced another concert date and I could get tickets for me and my family and I was very happy. I also went to the concert with 2 friends I’ve met through a Facebook fan-group. A SPECIAL FAMILY CELEBRATION YOU REMEMBER

Today i´d like to tell you about a family celebration that was 4 years ago, and it was when I still lived in La Serena city with my parents.  We planned spending christmas and new year in my grandmother’s house, in Santiago, so we travelled like 2 days before on my dad’d car.
