The Simpsons



Today i’m going to tell you about my favorite progamme i watched as a kid. Probably you already know the programme, because a lot of people watched it as kids.
(Altough it wasn’t a show for kids)                                                                                                            The programme was created by Matt Groening in the late eighties. The first chapter was on air in the 1989 and is about an american family composed by 5 members: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. They also have a dog and a cat.
Each chapter shows a different situation where the family faces cotidian problems often caused by Homer (the father) , who is very impulsive and often he does stupid things. Marge is his wife and she’s more calm and sensible. She tries Homer not to get in trouble.
The siblings (Bart, Lisa and Maggie) are very distinct. Bart is inmature and likes to make mischief. Lisa is intelligent and passionate. Maggie doesn’t speak because is a baby.

I still enjoy watching the same old chapters because I can feel related often in the things that say or happen to the characters. In the programme is used a sarcastic type of humor, sometimes acid because is the way that they use for critizing problems of the real world. It’s a very clever show. Also in some chapters, they have famous people.

A phone app you use a lot

Hi classmates today I’m going to talk about Instagram, because that’s the app I use the most now. I have been using it since one year ago I think. I had an account before but never really paid attention to it. When this network appeared everyone was join it but I didn´t care because In that time I didn´t like to upload photos. Now I use it for sharing photos, of course, but I also view it as a kind of virtual magazine, because I can see everyone’s content on there (not only photos) but videos, adverticings, event announcements, online stores, funny things, and even linking with other people.              I never logout so I’m at every time but I normally spend 30 minutes throghout day checking it. my 16th birthday

My 16th birthday was a bit unusual. I was still on school, and never gone to a concert before (I think it’s because I wasn’t into music before and these spectacles always take place in Santiago and I lived in La Serena at that time) and given the oportunity, I knew that Paul McCartney was coming to Chile, like 2 days before my birthday so I asked my parents for letting me go to this concert as a birthday present. They also like his music and listened to The Beatles in their youth, so they agreed and also bought their own tickets. We almost didn’t get tickets because a lot of people wanted to go to this concert, the most expensive ones got sold out instantly and so the cheaper tickets and I was devastated. One week later, They announced another concert date and I could get tickets for me and my family and I was very happy. I also went to the concert with 2 friends I’ve met through a Facebook fan-group. A SPECIAL FAMILY CELEBRATION YOU REMEMBER

Today i´d like to tell you about a family celebration that was 4 years ago, and it was when I still lived in La Serena city with my parents.  We planned spending christmas and new year in my grandmother’s house, in Santiago, so we travelled like 2 days before on my dad’d car.
